A young enterprise with fresh ideas.

Some twelve years ago Karl-Heinz Fiedler founded the company Proline Systems GmbH. On 1 October 1994 PROLINE started operations in Koblenz where they manufactured tile profiles in rented office space with a staff of just three people – far removed from the high-flying goals, concepts and ideas the young enterprise aimed to  achieve and far from the path that would lead the company in this direction. Even in those days it was their medium-term goal to achieve a top ranking on the German market and their long-term goal to gain a firm foothold on the European market. This was to be achieved with a strategy relying on high-quality products meeting high demands in terms of aesthetics and design – plus innovative ideas guaranteed to afford customers a clear product benefit.

In the meantime, PROLINE moved into its own modern premises in Boppard boasting a large warehouse and a state-of-the-art logistics system. The headcount rose to thirty and the portfolio now includes a unique blend of more than 2,000 products ranging from tile profiles and floor profile systems to mats and tapes, not forgetting the comprehensive accessories range. Which all goes to show that one of the founder’s key objectives has been achieved: today PROLINE ranks among the leading profile manufacturers in Germany thanks to its dynamic development and innovative, high-quality products. And they took that leap into the European market a long time ago – PROLINE is represented in about 30 countries today.

 

So the company has undergone a great deal of change in a fairly short space of time, displaying strong growth and telling a remarkable success story. What has not changed over time though is the aspiration and philosophy of PROLINE: continued growth through quality, the power to innovate as well as up-to-date product design – based on a reliable, competent and straightforward cooperation with trading partners.
